Wizz Air opens new routes from Sofia and Bourgas to London
Wizz Air the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced at a press conference in Sofia today that it would start new flights from Sofia and Bourgas to London and from Bourgas to Budapest.
The flights to London will start on 1 May 2006. The route between Bourgas and Budapest will be operated from 18 June 2006 during the summer on a seasonal basis.
The news comes just a day after Wizz Air revealed its expansion plans in Croatia and Slovenia by starting flights from Split (Croatia), Ljubljana (Slovenia) and increasing frequencies between Zagreb and London Luton.
Tickets for the flights are already available on the airline's website, wizzair.com or via call centre on +36 1 470 94 99 from as low as EUR 26.99 including taxes and charges. This promotional offer is valid for bookings made between 1 and 14 February 2006.
